In the hush of the fern-shadowed woods, where the mist settles low and the light comes through green, there is a goblie who does not hurry. Woodsie has lived in the quiet places of Astoria longer than most can remember — beneath the bracken, along the damp stone paths, in the soft dark under the ferns where the mushrooms grow.

He carries his home with him. Tucked against his belly is a little mushroom hut, small and round and warm, and it is not empty. Tuft lives there — a round green soul who rarely says much and never needs to. They found each other a long while ago, and neither has wandered alone since.

Woodsie doesn't offer advice. He doesn't rush anyone toward answers. He simply sits with you in the quiet, the way he sits with Tuft, and lets the hush do what hush does. He believes some things can only be heard when everything else goes still.
